STAL is located at Xin-Zhuang Industrial Zone, Southwest
of Shanghai, about 18km away from the city center. The
STAL facility covers an area of 35,000 square meters.
The total amount of investment is USD 170 million. STAL
is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, such as two
Sendzimir Mills, continuous bright annealing furnaces, a
tension leveler, and precision slitters. With Allegheny
Ludlum's high technology, STAL is capable of
manufacturing many kinds of ultra light, ultra flat and
ultra hard stainless steel strips with various gauges as
thin as 0.05mm,widths<630 mm, in a broad range of
grades, tempers, surface finishes and special
requirements. STAL has established a slitting service
center in Shen Zhen to offer prompt service for many
customers in the Zhu Jiang Delta.
As the first Sino-American Joint Venture for
manufacturing Precision Rolled Strip stainless steel in
China, STAL has obtained certificates of ISO9001 quality
system and ISO14001 environmental system with mission to
produce "World Class" products, in order to compete with
all other producers around the world. STAL sells
Precision Rolled Strip stainless to the Main-land and
Tai Wan of China as well as many countries in Asia and
