Shanghai STAL Precision Stainless Steel Co.,Ltd ( STAL) is a joint venture company between Allegheny Ludlum Corporation (ALC),USA and Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd, China ( Baosteel) , specializing in manufacturing and marketing precision-rolled stainless strips.  STAL was established in Dec, 1995 with USD96.56 million registered capital, 60% invested by ALC and 40% by Baosteel.

STAL is located in Xin-Zhuang Industrial Zone with assets of USD 250 million, covering an area of 12,000,000 square meters with 50,000 square meters building. STAL is equipped with state-of-the-art equipments, such as 20-roller Sendzimir mills, continuous bright annealing furnaces, tension levelers, degreasing cleaning lines and precision slitters. With ALC’s high technology, STAL is capable of manufacturing AISI 200、300、400 series stainless steels with different hardness, surfaces, or other special requirements for cold-rolled stainless steel strips  with the gauge ranging from 0.038 to 1.50mm and width from 3 to 1250mm.
