The ceremony marking the start of construction of the Expansion Project was held in Xinzhuang Industrial Zone, Shanghai. PRC in the morning on April 1, 2007.

At 8:58 am, Mr. Xu, Yanger, the General Manager declared the Expansion Project ceremony open with the lighting of firecrackers and fireworks at Hua-jin Road. The first pile driving symbolized the formal start of construction for the Expansion Project.

The total investment in the Expansion is about 1.07 billion RMB (128.12 million US Dollar).  After its completion, the additional annual capacity would be up to 36,000 MT having a thickness produced of 0.05～1.0 mm and a width of 5～1250 mm. The Expansion should be in commercial production in late 2008.
