In order to provide better service for customers in the precision rolled strip market in the Northern China Region, including Tianjin, the STAL Board of Directors has agreed in principle to invest in Tianjin, PR China to establish a slitting service center as a wholly-owned subsidiary.

The Tianjin Service Center should be operational by the end of this year 2007. The main processing equipment would include 650mm-wide and 300mm-wide slitters having an annual capacity up to 3,500 MT.
